Public Submissions

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade continues to welcome public submissions and comments on an Australia-China Free Trade Agreement (FTA). More information about lodging a submission can be found on the Australia-China Free Trade Agreement Negotiations page.

Submissions received relate to both the FTA Feasibility Study and negotiations on an FTA which are now underway. Submissions have been received from a wide range of interested parties including industry, professional and non-government bodies, companies, unions, individuals and state and local governments. Many of these have come from peak industry and business organisations, representing the full range of agriculture, mining, services and manufacturing industry sectors.
