The Economic Analytical Unit
The Economic Analytical Unit (EAU) was a part of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and was the main agency within the Australian Government responsible for publishing reports analysing major trade and economic issues in overseas markets of relevance to Australia.
The Economic Analytical Unit produced 44 major reports since its establishment in 1990.
