PURCHASER/PROVIDER ARRANGEMENTS
Puchaser/provider arrangements
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has a cross-agency arrangement, the Common Administrative Services agreement, under which it provides common administrative services to Australian Government agencies overseas. In 19992000 the department provided services under the CAS agreement to:

- Australian Trade Commission
- Centrelink
- Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation
- Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and ForestryAustralia
- Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts
- Department of Education, Training and Youth Affairs
- Department of Defence
- Department of Family and Community Services
- Department of Health and Aged Care
- Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs
- Department of Industry, Science and Resources
- Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
- Department of Transport and Regional Services

The Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, Department of Defence and the Australian Trade Commission are the main purchasers of services under the CAS agreement.
The department also has purchaser/provider arrangements with Australian Government agencies that require international telecommunications and office automation services for staff at Australias overseas missions. The department provides these services to the following agencies:
