AusAID’s Internet site continued to attract a large number of users seeking information about Australia’s overseas aid program. During the review period, the amount of material on the site grew in line with AusAID’s commitment to provide as much information as possible on line. The most popular site locations were the home page, country information, business opportunities, media releases and other general information on the aid program.

The site is regularly updated to provide facts and figures about country programs along with details on Australia’s response to humanitarian crises such as the drought in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. Information about the new Youth Ambassadors for Development Program is also on the site. Major corporate publications are published on the site including AusAID’s quarterly magazine Focus, the Budget Statement, business publications and Better Aid for A Better Future.
