One of Australia’s most innovative physical theatre groups, Strange Fruit, entertains an appreciative audience at the annual Baharat Rang Mahotsav Festival at the National School of Drama, New Delhi, India in January 2007. Strange Fruit was one of several companies which participated in AusArts India, a two-year program of the Australia International Cultural Council. Showcasing Australian expertise at major festivals of music, film, literature and the visual arts, AusArts India enhanced Australia’s image in India as a culturally diverse country.
