The Australian high commission in London helped organise a live acoustic performance by the Bardi Dancers, who live 200 kilometres north of Broome in Western Australia, at this spectacular and historic location in the United Kingdom. The high commission used the performance to underscore the connection between a living community and its spiritual and cultural traditions, which is a key point in our advocacy seeking the return to Indigenous communities in Australia of ancestral remains held in the United Kingdom.
