Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR) Medical Scholarship Exchange Award

The Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR) is delighted to announce the signing of an agreement between CAAR and The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for the administration of the CAAR (Medical) Scholarship Exchange Award. The Scholarship Exchange will support a program of academic visits in general practice and family medicine to and from selected Arab countries.

In addition to the opportunity to exchange knowledge and skills in general practice and family medicine, the broader objectives of the Scholarship Award are to increase awareness and understanding between Australia and Arab countries of each other’s areas of medical excellence and to support the establishment of institutional links between schools, universities and professional medical colleges and societies in Australia and selected Arab countries.
