James Langridge

James W Langridge

Vice-Principal (Overseas Operations), University of Wollongong and CEO & Managing Director, Illawarra Technology Corporation Limited

Jim Langridge has held the joint appointment of CEO & Managing Director of the ITC Group of Companies and Vice-Principal of the University of Wollongong (UOW) since 1990.

He plays a key strategic role in all operations of the ITC Group and leads a team of highly skilled professionals in the education sector. Jim has been extensively involved in projects in the Middle East since the early 1990s, leading a number of education endeavours in the UAE, Qatar, Lebanon and Syria. Jim played a major role in founding the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) and continues to oversee its day-to-day management.

Jim holds a business degree from the University of Technology (UTS), Sydney, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of New England. Before joining the ITC Group his career was in the public sector in management and computing, including a brief career in teaching.

He is a Board Member of the ITC Group, IDP Education Australia Ltd, Al Jazeera Academy (Doha), the UOWD Board of Trustees (Dubai). He is also a member of a number of international professional associations and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
