Dr Agu Kantsler
Dr Kantsler is Director Exploration & New Ventures for Woodside Petroleum Ltd. He has 25 years experience in the international oil industry, most of which were spent with Shell in a variety of exploration positions in Australia, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Woodside in 1995 he was Exploration Manager for Shell in Indonesia. Woodside is currently engaged in exploration and production activities in North Africa, including Algeria, Libya and Mauritania, West Africa and the Gulf of Mexico. Dr Kantsler has been a Councillor of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association since 1996 and was Chairman from June 2000 to October 2002. He is also Adjunct Professor of Geophysics at Curtin University.
