Surf Life Saving Australia, Phuket Lifesaving Education Centre

ATI SUPPORT PROVIDED: $5,500

Since the late 1990s, lifeguard training programs have been provided to Phuket locals, delivered at various resorts throughout Phuket. As the demand for more lifeguards increases, resorts are no longer suitable venues for training due to the interference with guests and the demand on resort facilities. To enable the training program to expand with the growing needs of the area, this project will establish a purpose built training centre at Nai Harn Beach the Phuket Lifesaving Education Centre.
