Australia - Malaysia Institute

The Australia-Malaysia Institute was established in 2005 to strengthen people-to-people and institutional links with Malaysia and to deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between Australia and Malaysia.

Grant Applications

The AMI grant funding round is now closed.

28 September 2009 – The AMI has finalised its decisions from the latest grant round that closed on 20 July 2009. Details of successful projects will be published on the DFAT website in due course. The next AMI grant round will open in April 2010.

The Australia-Malaysia Institute is interested in forming strategic alliances and partnerships with possible sponsors, including those in the private sector, to enhance its programs. Sponsors are invited to email their ideas for cooperative projects to enhance Australia's people-to-people and institutional links with Malaysia to the AMI Secretariat at ausmalaysia.institute@dfat.gov.au.
