The Australia India Science and Technology Research Award 2010

The Australia-India Council (AIC) is proud to support the Australia India Science and Technology Research Award, a new initiative of the AIC in partnership with the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). This new program will optimise the skills of Australian and Indian leading early career researchers through a two-way exchange program. AIC Grant Funding

The Australia-India Council (AIC) welcomes funding applications from Australian individuals and organisations for projects which are likely to promote long-term contact and cooperation between Australia and India.  

IASA Conference January 2010, Goa

The AIC has selected the successful applicants for the IASA Travel Grant program. We regret to advise that no further travel grants are available to support attendance at this conference.

The Australia-India Council is now inviting applications for 2009-2010 financial year. The closing date for applications is COB Monday 16 November 2009. The Guidelines for grant funding have been extensively updated, so please ensure that you thoroughly read and comply with all of the Guidelines.  Applications need to be emailed to ausindia.council@dfat.gov.au, but the signed original must follow in the mail.  All applications postmarked up to and on Monday 16 November will be accepted. Applicants should note that the AIC unconditionally reserves the right to postpone or cancel a funding round, or to award no grant funding after the consideration of applications received in a funding round.

Australia India Business Council

The AIBC is a national NGO and is recognised by the Australian government as the peak body for promoting business links between Australia and India. The AIBC is the first point of contact by government and business representatives from both countries seeking access to industry, business and government leaders of both countries.
